Travis ECHS Now Enrolling Students in Hospitality Management Program
Austin ISD is now enrolling students for an innovative program designed to help students earn an associate of applied science degree in hospitality management at no cost while attending Travis Early College High School. This program, launching in August 2021 at Travis ECHS, was created in partnership with Austin Hotel Lodging Association, Visit Austin, and Austin Community College District (ACC).

Austin ISD Hosts 2017 Bond Open Houses
Austin ISD is hosting a series of informational open houses to learn more about the 2017 Bond and how it could affect each campus. Austin Students Can Shine Onstage in the Summer Theatre Series
Students of all experience levels are welcomed to shine onstage this summer during the free Summer Theatre Series program from the Austin ISD Visual & Performing Arts Department. Current fifth through 12th-grade students are invited to try out as actors, dancers, technicians and musicians. Audition help is available, and no experience is required.
Innovation Summit Kickoff

Every year, AISD joins school districts across the nation in celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week. Murchison Middle School Robotics Teams Excel in National Competition
Two Murchison VEX Robotics teams excelled at the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championships in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in early April. Both Matadors squads finished in the top 16 teams out of 93 middle school squads from around the world.
