AISD Operates on Regular Schedule; Expect Traffic Delays due to Weather
Austin ISD will operate on its regular schedule today. Due to weather and possible flooding in some areas, there may be delays in bus pick-up and school arrival times.AISD asks parents to please add extra time to their commutes this morning and to expect road closures and traffic delays. The district also reminds Austin drivers to stop for AISD school buses whose lights are flashing.

Students will need to wear masks on AISD buses
Students riding Austin ISD school buses will be required to wear a mask following federal orders provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Why it matters: Because of Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive order, Austin ISD can’t mandate masks in our schools, but the federal order requiring them will apply on our school buses.
