AISD's First Literacy Summit, Featuring Dr. Richard Allington
The Austin ISD Literacy Work Group was established to develop a plan for literacy in the district. A Board-Approved AISD Strategic Priority for school year 2014–15 includes the implementation of the district literacy plan. Reminder: Austin ISD Offices and Schools Closed July 4-8
All Austin ISD offices and schools will be closed for one week, from July 4-8, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. As a reminder, through Aug. 12, Austin ISD operates on a summer efficiency schedule. All offices adopt a four-day week during this time. Business hours will be 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
BFAC Meetings
Notice: This Committee is Currently Inactive BFAC Meetings All Budget and Finance Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public. Individuals may sign up to speak prior to the start of meetings. Unless otherwise noted, all BFAC meetings are 6–8 p.m. at the Carruth Administration Center board auditorium, 1111 W. Sixth St.
