AUSTIN, Texas—This week, Austin ISD’s Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Leal Anderson as the district’s new athletics director. Anderson is the men’s basketball coach at Anderson High School and was the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ outstanding coach of the year for 2012-13.
