The 2021 Austin ISD Summer Theatre Series is back live, in-person, and bigger than ever before.

The summer theatre series presents three public performances: a mainstage musical and two black box plays. 

• Mamma Mia! runs July 22-25, at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center main stage; 
• Charlotte’s Web and Still Life with Iris run July 15-18 at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center’s black box theatre. 

American Sign Language and audio description services will be included for some of the performances.  

“The AISD Summer Theatre Series is a big family that helps bring students together from across the district. It has helped me find great friends who became like family to me,” said Alexis Baxa, a Crockett High School graduate. 

Productions will be presented in the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center, located at 1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd. Parking is available for free in the onsite parking garage. 

Tickets for public performances go on sale July 1 and can be purchased at the box office at 512-414-4720 or online at Eventbrite.

Still Life with Iris and Charlotte’s Web general admission tickets are $10 and AISD student and staff tickets are $5.

Mamma Mia! reserved seating tickets are $15 and AISD student and staff tickets are $10. Children under the age of 5 are free.
