AISD Community Invited to Provide School Changes Feedback

Austin ISD students, staff and community partners are invited to provide feedback on the 39 preliminary scenario options released as part of the School Changes process.

The district is hosting 19 community engagement meetings, including a districtwide option and several campus-specific meetings. District leaders are seeking input on the scenario options to improve academics, equity and facilities throughout the school district. Each scenario is a starting point for conversations. The proposed changes are not final.

Child care and Spanish interpretation will be available at all meetings.

Feedback is also being recorded through the online community engagement platform ThoughtExchange. Participants can select specific scenarios to provide feedback and view other comments. The platform also allows commenters to rate other feedback and see what trends there may be related to a scenario.

Specific questions about School Changes can be submitted through the district's Let's Talk customer service platform. Questions can be submitted directly to the staff member who can respond in the most efficient and timely manner. Let's Talk categories can be found on the School Changes Feedback page
