Support Doss Elementary in the Follett Challenge
The Follet Challenge is a national education contest recognizing the best in K-12 innovation. Judges will evaluate applications based on critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration among students, teachers and school staff. Twenty percent of the score is based on how many votes applicants’ videos have received from the public.
The overall winner will earn a $60,000 prize and a celebration at the school. Three semifinalists will earn $30,000 prizes. Ten $8,000 prizes will be awarded in the People’s Choice category, which is determined solely by public votes.
As part of its contest application, Doss submitted a video to promote Read Across Doss (RAD), a program that fosters a love of reading and writing through author visits and student reading initiatives.
Voting is open through Jan. 30. Click here to vote for Doss Elementary.
Winners will be announced April 30.
