Austin ISD is proud to celebrate Transportation Employees Week. We sincerely appreciate our employees who safely transport tens of thousands of students to and from school.

Each and every school day, AISD bus barns are bustling well before dawn with drivers preparing for their routes. For some, it's after dark when their day ends.

In addition to regular routes, transportation employees also drive students to hundreds of school-related activities outside of Austin. From football games to choir competitions, transportation employees are at the helm keeping our students safe.

Thank you to every transportation employee who contributes to education through their dedicated service.
