The latest annual report for Austin ISD shows the district surpasses both state and local rates of college readiness in nearly all student groups.
The Texas Academic Performance Report, released by the Texas Education Agency, was presented to the Austin ISD Board of Trustees and the community Feb. 27 during a public hearing.
The Austin ISD Board of Trustees is engaging a series of outreach sessions around Austin ISD. Austin is taking part in the Lone Star Governance (LSG) process. LSG requires that Trustees host a community meeting to discuss progress toward student outcome goals within each feeder pattern with low performing campuses during the previous 12-month period.
