Austin ISD's Anderson High School experienced an unforgettable moment June 2 when the power went out at their graduation. Despite the setback, the students banded together to sing the national anthem by the light of their cell phones then proceeded to receive their diplomas.
"This class can persevere through anything. We did the pandemic. We did the snowstorm. And now tonight, we're persevering again."
