Austin ISD invites interested members of the community to learn more about recent and ongoing technology upgrades throughout the district.
With $81 million approved by voters as part of the 2013 Bond Program, the district has been working to refresh student and educator technologies by replacing outdated machines and enhancing classrooms with additional devices.
Details about campus-level purchases and upgrades can be found on a new website, which provides a report that includes the amount of money spent and the number of devices on each campus.
The regularly updated, mobile-friendly site includes information on which devices are available to teachers, the process for device selection, the timeline for distribution and updates to our principals.
