Families, staff and community members are invited to help Lanier High School kickoff the 2013 Homecoming Week with a parade and Fall Festival Oct. 12.

The parade will include the Lanier band, cheerleaders, Vikettes, football team and other school groups, as well as members of the community and feeder schools.

The event will begin with a parade at 10 a.m., which starts and ends at the school. Following the parade, the school will lead a community pep rally and then begin the Viking Fall Festival on the campus and school courtyard.  

Food, fun, entertainment and activities for all ages will be available at the event.
