Dear Team AISD, 

Today kicks off our AISD Gives campaign; Austin ISD and Charitable Funds Inc. are excited to partner with United Way for Greater Austin to bring you a robust and exciting campaign. Our goal this year is to reach 75% participation. Every donation you give, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference in the community.

Participating in AISD Gives allows each of us an opportunity to be a philanthropist and influence positive change in our community. Our great city will thrive and prosper only when economic opportunities are available to everyone. Having the chance to participate in this campaign is something I fully support and I hope you do too.

During the month of October, you will hear from your campus campaign coordinator, staff from United Way for Greater Austin and representatives from the AISD Employee Fund. Please, as your schedule allows, take a few minutes to talk with these dedicated individuals about the amazing work being done right here in your backyard and how you can be a part of it.

I also want to share with you some exciting news: Five percent of every donation made to United Way will be gifted to the AISD Employee Fund. Thank you United Way!
