We have a free COVID-19 vaccine opportunity available for our AISD Community, all family members included, 5 years of age and older.

Booster shots are available at this clinic. If you got Pfizer, you're 12 or older and it’s been five months since your second shot, it’s time for a booster. If you got Moderna, you’re 18 or older and it’s been six months since your second shot, it’s time for a booster. Learn more about boosters at the CDC's website.

Unity Walk and KidsFest

All are invited to join the 17th annual Unity Walk, a parade for students, families, and school and community members to celebrate diversity, declare unity, advocate for equity, build community and show support for our neighborhood schools.

The parade will begin at 9 am at Webb Early College Prep Academy and finish by 10 am at Northeast Early College High School.

Breaking down the budget cuts

District leaders are proposing a balanced budget for the 2022-23 school year, including a reduction of 632 positions to close our $87 million deficit.

There’s been some confusion about how we ended up with 632 positions when earlier budget discussions focused on cutting 250 positions from Central Office.
