The details of bus driver pay
Part of the budget proposals for next year include increasing the minimum pay for bus drivers from $17 to $21. Because we would also be taking away paid holidays when they would not be driving, we’ve gotten questions from media, chatter on social media, and even public comments at our Board meetings with questions about whether the pay raise would net bus drivers an increase in pay.
