Overview
Odom Elementary School is named for Lalla M. Odom, a beloved teacher known for her excellence in math instruction. Odom Elementary?s mission is to provide an environment where students can actively engage in is meaningful learning, and to challenge all students to develop essential thinking and academic skills. Social and emotional learning, which teaches students to manage emotions, establish positive relationships, and make responsible decisions is integrated into the core curriculum. The Creative Learning Initiative engages students in different curriculum areas through fine arts. As an AVID designated school, Odom helps students meet social, organizational, and higher thinking needs as they prepare for college. Odom is part of the Crockett Early College High School family of schools which supports preparation for college-level courses beginning in 9th grade - allowing students to graduate from high school with a diploma and an associate degree.
La Escuela Primaria Odom lleva el nombre de Lalla M. Odom, una querida maestra conocida por su excelencia en la instrucción de matemáticas.
