Panorama Survey Results

Austin ISD surveys are conducted through Panorama throughout the year. The most common of these are the biannual Climate Surveys given to families, students, and staff. After this information is collected it is cleaned, disaggregated, and used to inform district and campus leadership of the issues of the day with the intent to enact informed change.

Austin ISD is supporting the development of SEL skills by surveying students to understand their strengths and opportunities for growth.

Award-winning McCallum fiddler joins friends for upcoming concerts

Although Georgia Halverson won’t graduate from McCallum High School until 2024, the nationally-recognized fiddler is already focused on getting her sound to graduate before she does. Halverson, who started playing violin at age four, is also a member of the Perfect Fourth Quartet, a string quartet composed of Halverson and three of her McCallum classmates, fellow violinist Thea Krische, violist Z Campbell and cellist Mateo Jones. In addition to frequent performances at school ceremonies and graduations, Perfect Fourth will play their first paid gig this weekend, accompanying the Austin Women’s Chorus for their winter concerts on December 10 and 11.
