The backlog of special education evaluations in Austin ISD is due to be cleared by the district’s promised deadline of July 1.

APH/AISD Back-to-School Immunizations and COVID-19 Vaccine Event
Austin ISD and Austin Public Health will have a mobile vaccine unit at LBJ ECHS to provide back-to-school shots (per Texas minimum requirements) and COVID-19 Pfizer vaccines. Please note the free back to school immunizations at this event are available only to children who are uninsured, underinsured or using Medicaid. The free COVID-19 (Pfizer) vaccine is available for any individuals 12 years of age and older. Pre-registration available, walk-ins welcome.
COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - Akins Early College High School
We have a free COVID-19 (Pfizer) vaccine opportunity available for our AISD Community, all family members included, 12 years of age and older. This opportunity is being hosted by Code 4. Appointment preferred, walk-ins welcome.
