LBJ Early College High School Meet The Principal Night

When: Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021
Time: 5-7 p.m.
Where: LBJ Early College High School Gym - 7309 Lazy Creek Dr.

What to expect: Come meet our new principal, Dr. Joseph Welch to discuss his vision, mission and goals for LBJ. Following his remarks, you’re invited to enjoy food and visit tables with student groups to learn more about what’s happening on campus, including the progress of the 2017 Bond Program renovations. 

AISD Sounding Board: BE (LOCAL) Policy Update

Six months ago, the Board of Trustees voted on some policy changes to increase transparency and make it easier for the public to provide feedback before important decisions.

Now, the board wants to hear from you about what’s working and what’s not before revisiting the policy and making any necessary changes.

LBJ community invited to Meet the Principal night

LBJ Early College High School Principal Joseph Welch is inviting the community to join in on a conversation about on-campus activities and his vision and goals for LBJ during a Meet the Principal event.

What: The evening will be kicked-off by the LBJ marching band and cheerleaders, followed by remarks from Dr. Welch. Food will be provided for attendees and there will be an opportunity to learn more about campus renovations as part of the 2017 Bond Program.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.

Mendez Community Conversation

The week we return from fall break, we will be holding a community conversation regarding the current T-STEM Texas partnership. 

  • Why it matters: We are committed to working together to do what’s best for students at Mendez. We value the partnership we’ve had with T-STEM Texas and want to determine the best way to support students in the future. 

Please join us to discuss what’s possible for Mendez in the upcoming school year from 5:30–7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Mendez Middle School Library.
