AISD Multilingual Education Advisory Committee Meeting

The Multilingual Education Advisory Committee advises the school district about matters related to students who are language learners.

The Committee meets throughout the school year, from 6–7:30 p.m. at Austin ISD Headquarters, 4000 S. IH35.

Austin ISD Wins Inaugural TAEA District of Distinction Award

Austin ISD has received the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction Award - an honor given to the top 2 percent of school districts in the state. 

TAEA announced the 20 winners of the District of Distinction Award, which honored districts that provided a well-rounded education, which advocates and integrates visual arts curriculum to inspire creativity and reach all different learners. This is the first year that TAEA is honoring districts that meet rigorous criteria as evidenced by data from a rubric.

Eastside Memorial Vertical Team Harvest Fest

Join the Eastside Memorial ECHS Vertical Team and Austin Voices for the annual Harvest Fest.

This free event aims to bring together our community and our Eastside family of schools to celebrate the fall season.
