Overview

Paredes Middle School is named for Américo Paredes, a 20th Century Mexican-American scholar. The mission of Paredes is to prepare students to be successful and productive community members, lifelong learners, and creative problem solvers who value teamwork, cultural diversity, and mutual respect. Student achievement is a top priority at Paredes. The school?s climate encourages positive, respectful behavior to help students learn in a supportive environment.


La Escuela Secundaria Paredes lleva el nombre de Américo Paredes, un académico mexicoamericano del siglo XX. La misión de Paredes es preparar a los estudiantes para que sean miembros exitosos y productivos de la comunidad, aprendices de por vida y solucionadores de problemas creativos que valoran el trabajo en equipo, la diversidad cultural y el respeto mutuo.
