The Dobie Prekindergarten Center helps children get a head start in their education—and in life.

The Pre-K center—named in honor of James Frank Dobie, an American folklorist, writer and newspaper columnist—offers a stimulating and nurturing environment to help children discover and develop the full range of their talents and skills. Every classroom features a certified teacher who focuses on helping AISD’s littlest learners grow and flourish academically, physically and socially.

From Pre-K students to college-bound graduates, AISD offers a world of opportunities—including arts, athletics, health sciences and robotics—to help all students achieve their greatest potential.

The Dobie Pre-K Center is part of the Reagan family of schools. As an early college high school, Reagan offers students the opportunity to earn college credit and graduate with a diploma in one hand and an associate’s degree from Austin Community College in the other.
