The Science of Exploration
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math—also known as STEM—is an interdisciplinary curriculum delivered through problem-based learning experiences. An array of focus areas are offered through STEM, including engineering, computer programming, software development, advanced mathematics, physics and chemistry.
The STEM curriculum encourages problem-solving and critical thinking through exploration. Many STEM courses are taught in labs, with hands-on learning that simulates real-world professions. Schools also have active partnerships with community organizations and local businesses to extend learning beyond the classroom.
