AISD Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) Program
Spring 2018 applications are due by midnight on January 2, but may be submitted early
The purpose of the OCPE Program is to accommodate students who are making a serious effort to develop higher-level skills in a specific activity that exceed what the school district can offer through the general physical education program. The OCPE Program allows students in 7th through 12th grades to earn credits that meet the district and state physical education requirements. Only agencies who have been trained and have received AISD OCPE curriculum can provide OCPE credit.
Students will be expected to be physically educated along with being physically active. They will be expected to show accountability of skill development, learned physical activity and health concepts and social development through participation in their selected physical activity and written and tested assignments that are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Physical Education.
OCPE Agencies Must Observe AISD Closures - student should not attend agencies in the event of district weather closures
or by fax to 512-414-0035.
Late applications will not be accepted.
We currently have a waitlist for new agencies. If you wish to join the list to receive more information about becoming an approved OCPE agency, please contact our office at 512-414-4903.
