Austin ISD and the city of Austin welcome students, their families and members of the community for the 11th annual Back to School Bash!
This event brings together more than 100 community organizations and nonprofits focused on providing services and educational opportunities to Austin ISD students and their families.
- Performances by students from throughout the district
- Free immunizations by Austin/Central Texas Care Van (children must have shot records)
- Free backpacks and school supplies for Austin ISD students (children must be present to receive a backpack, while supplies last)
- Free haircuts from jcp salon
- Carseat installation demonstrations
- Door prizes and more!
BTSB is on Saturday August 6 and begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road.
Free shuttles are available for AISD families every 30–45 minutes beginning at 7:30 a.m. from:
- Bedichek Middle School, 6800 Bill Hughes Road
- Covington Middle School, 3700 Convict Hill Road
- Guerrero Thompson Elementary School, 102 E. Rundberg Lane
- Lanier High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road
- Martin Middle School, 1601 Haskell St.
- Mendez Middle School, 5106 Village Square
- Reagan Early College High School, 7104 Berkman Drive
- Summitt Elementary School, 12207 Brigadoon Lane
