News from Dr. Cruz: FABPAC

Team AISD,

The facilities where students learn, play, perform and compete are an integral part of their educational experience. From classrooms to football stadiums, oversight takes careful planning and expertise.

The Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee is a new advisory body to help with that effort. FABPAC was created to evaluate capital improvement needs of the district. They also provide recommendations to the board of trustees on long-range facilities planning, changes to the AISD Facility Master Plan and the scope of work and timing of future bond programs.

FABPAC helps guide the district in issues like the use of over-crowded and under-enrolled schools, technology needs and modernization plans. Their guidance helps AISD make the best use of current resources and plan for future needs.

Thanks to our FABPAC volunteers and AISD facilities staff whose work supports our core belief to generate, leverage, and utilize strategically all resources. You are helping ensure that all students graduate ready for college, career and life.
