Hundreds of Volunteers Participate in Entrepreneurs Foundation’s Annual Fall Service Day

On Friday, Nov. 15, the Entrepreneurs Foundation’s launched its Annual Fall Service Day at Norman and Barbara Jordan elementary schools. The event was a success, bringing AISD together with hundreds of community volunteers.

EF and AISD worked together to prepare on-site projects for 13 local companies, including: ACTIVElife, Adlucent, Blackbaud, CreditCards.com, ESO Solutions, Enspire Learning, Gazzang, Innography, JDI, PwC, SailPoint, TrendKite and Troux Technologies. More than than 475 team members worked together from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to improve the campus facilities. They tackled projects that included: building fully lined new tracks, painting perimeters of playgrounds, creating outdoor classrooms and amphitheaters, rebuilding gardens, painting murals on the covered black tops cafeterias and gymnasiums, mulching trees and spreading fresh soil, planting bushes and hanging cork boards to display children’s artwork.

We are so grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who came out last week to show support for our schools and students.
