Two Anderson Astronomy Students Accepted into NASA High School Aerospace Scholars Program

Leah Griffith and Bailey Williams have been accepted into the NASA High School Aerospace Scholars program.

The NASA HAS program is an intensive, interactive online learning experience highlighted by a weeklong internship at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Selected students are encouraged to study mathematics, science, engineering and computer science by interacting with engineers at NASA's Johnson Space Center.

From across the state of Texas, students are selected to participate by their state legislator and teachers through a highly competitive process.

Leading up to their acceptance, both Leah and Bailey have demonstrated excellence in their academics as well as interest and leadership in science and engineering.
