ACE Survey Highlights, 2017

Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) is a federally funded program administered through the TEA to provide high-quality activities during out-of-school time for children who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. During 2016-2017 school year, the ACE program served 4,736 students at 29 AISD campuses.

Parents of ACE students, students, and teachers reported positive perceptions of experiences in ACE programs on annual surveys. Specifically, the majority of the parents believed that the availability of the ACE program was one reason they kept their children enrolled in AISD schools.
