2017-2018 ACE Afterschool Program Climate Highlights
More students feel safe in their afterschool programs than feel safe during the school day, according to 2017-2018 climate surveys. In addition, in afterschool, many desirable climate factors increased from the 2016–2017 school year to the 2017–2018 school year, while they decreased in the school-day environment.

Summary of Austin Independent School District Telecommuting Surveys
Telecommuting is currently used in many industries and is celebrated for fostering job satisfaction and increased productivity. However, telecommuting is not widely practiced in K-12 environments. Two departments in AISD implemented pilot telecommuting programs. This report presents survey results from these pilot implementation models and summarizes the lessons learned to better understand the challenges and best practices of implementation.

2015-2016 Student Climate Survey
The student climate survey provides the opportunity to monitor students’ opinions regarding topics such as behavioral environment, adult fairness & respect, student academic self-confidence, teacher expectations, student engagement, school connectedness and SEL skills.

The maps show substance use survey responses in the neighborhood and campus contexts. This visual representation reveals moderate concentration of alcohol use in high schools as well as marijuana use on the middle school level.

The Student Substance Use and Safety Survey, administered annually to a random, representative sample of AISD students, provides self-report data on student knowledge, attitudes, and behavior related to substance use and school safety issues.

2006-2007 INVEST and Positive Families Survey Summary
Student and parent participants in both the INVEST and Positive Families programs were asked to participate in an anonymous survey regarding their experiences of the 4-part workshop following completion of the final class. Aggregated results for quantitative survey items are summarized.
