2018-2019 Student Substance Use and School Safety Survey
The Austin Independent School District Department of Research and Evaluation conducts semi-annual surveys of Student Substance Use and School Safety in the spring semester of alternate years. 2016 - 2017 AISD Substance Use and Safety Survey
In the spring of 2017, the AISD Department of Research and Evaluation (DRE) administered the Substance Use and Safety Survey (SSUSS) to track middle and high school students’ self-reported knowledge, attitudes, and behavior related to substance use and perceptions of school safety. Results from this survey are used to inform and assist with district- and campus-wide substance use prevention and school safety planning.

2017-2018 ACE Afterschool Program Climate Highlights
More students feel safe in their afterschool programs than feel safe during the school day, according to 2017-2018 climate surveys. In addition, in afterschool, many desirable climate factors increased from the 2016–2017 school year to the 2017–2018 school year, while they decreased in the school-day environment.

Afterschool Centers on Education Survey Highlights 2017: Availability of the Afterschool Program Helps to Maintain AISD Enrollment
This report provides findings from various surveys regarding parent, student, and teacher perceptions of Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) programs at AISD campuses. The ACE program was highly rated and thought to help maintain AISD enrollment.

AISD 2015 Family Leaver Survey: 2014-2015 Leavers
To understand the most common reasons that students leave the Austin Independent School District (AISD), and identify where students go after they leave, the Department of Research and Evaluation conducted a survey in English and Spanish. For the purpose of the survey, leavers were defined as students who attended AISD during the 2014-2015 school year, but who were not enrolled at AISD in October of 2015.

Maps of Pearce and Garcia Middle School Attendance Zones Fall 2012 Telephone Survey
These maps were developed to supplement findings from the Fall 2012 Pearce and Garcia Middle Schools phone survey. The maps show the distribution and density of student households in the two attendance zones, the distribution of responses to the survey questions, as well as the proportion of ethnicities in the surveyed area.

ACCESS Early Childhood Questionnaire Results, 2011-2012
In November 2011, ACCESS staff distributed a questionnaire about early childhood education services participation to all Austin Independent School District’s parents/guardians of kindergarten and prekindergarten students through their classroom teacher. This report was funded through the ACCESS grant as an adhoc request and provides a district summary of the data.

2006-2007 INVEST and Positive Families Survey Summary
Student and parent participants in both the INVEST and Positive Families programs were asked to participate in an anonymous survey regarding their experiences of the 4-part workshop following completion of the final class. Aggregated results for quantitative survey items are summarized.
