In the 2013–2014 school year, the High-Dosage Tutoring (HDT) Program served approximately 1,698 students at nine AISD schools. This report summarizes the third year of implementation and outcomes.
Every year, the Austin Independent School District administers the Student Substance Use and Safety Survey to a random, representative sample of middle and high school students. The survey tracks student knowledge, attitudes, and behavior over time.
The purpose of this survey is to monitor high school students’ perceptions of their high school experience. Results are used to improve the campus environment and program supports for students.
This report provides highlights from the 2018 High School Exit Survey and includes AISD seniors’ reports of college and career preparation activities, perceptions of their school experiences, and aspirations for the future.
The High School Exit Survey was administered online to seniors in every AISD high school during Spring 2010. In total, 3,574 seniors in the Class of 2010 completed the survey, for a response rate of 87.9 percent.
