The National Wildlife Federation's SchoolYard Habitat (SYH) program was a partnership with AISD from 2010-2012. A total of 18 outdoor learning habitats were created on AISD elementary and middle school campuses, and a demonstration habitat was created at the AISD Science and Health Resource Center (SHRC). The purpose of the SYHs is to provide teachers with an outdoor classroom that allows students to learn science and mathematics skills in natural environments. This report details the results of the 2015 survey of teachers and librarians in AISD regarding technology integration and implementation and their awareness or use of Project Based Learning (PBL).
