This annual report summarizes Austin ISD's English language learner students and the bilingual and ESL programs in which they participated during the 2015-2016 school year. The report includes summaries of data on student demographics, language acquisition, and academic performance. TELL AISD Teaching and Learning Conditions Survey: Results for 2011 through 2016
The Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning (TELL) AISD Survey gathers information about school conditions from the educators working in schools. TELL obtains perceptions on a variety of issues related to student achievement and staff retention. In 2016, 5,309 AISD teachers (91%) and 3,092 other campus employees completed the survey.

AISD Parent Survey Report 2016
These reports summarize parents' feedback about their treatment by school staff, information received from school, the school's environment, school-based programs, and the food service. Campus reports were created if there were 10 or more surveys completed.

AISD conducts an online survey of professional & administrative employees leaving the district. The Human Resources Exit Survey asks four questions about the reasons for leaving. This report describes teachers’ reasons for leaving in 2015-2016.

2015-2016 Creative Learning Initiative Annual Report
The Creative Learning Initiative (CLI) is a community-wide effort to bring creative learning and the arts to each and every student in Austin. Lead by MINDPOP, the City of Austin, and the Austin Independent School District (AISD), CLI designs systemic and sustainable programs that integrate creativity, creative teaching strategies, and the arts with classroom teaching, campus programming, and campus improvement. Evaluation findings suggest CLI implementation had a positive impact on the district, its teachers and the students it serves.

Social and Emotional Learning: The Effects of Program Implementation and Longevity, 2011-2012 through 2015-2016
