Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) 2016
This report summarizes Spring 2016 Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) results for Austin ISD's English language learner (ELL) students. TELPAS is used annually in Texas public schools to assess ELLs' English acquisition in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Year 2 Evaluation of the Educator Excellence Innovation Program in Austin Independent School District
This report describes feedback from teachers at the six EEIP schools. EEIP includes implementation of a new teacher appraisal system, student learning objectives, professional learning communities, novice teacher mentoring, and targeted peer observation.

School-Connect Summary Report

Professional Development Activities Needs Assessment 2015-2016

The following report examines the Dual Language Program implementation in three school districts similar to AISD. The school districts are compared in terms of demographic composition, program implementation, and English language learners' academic performance on STAAR 2014.

Has school climate in AISD changed over time since the implementation of the Learning Support Centers
This report summarizes changes in student discretionary discipline removals from AISD schools and changes in staff's climate survey as well as students' climate survey results from 2011-2012 through 2015-2016, with a focus on when learning support centers were implemented in 2012-2013.

AISD 2015 Family Leaver Survey: 2014-2015 Leavers
To understand the most common reasons that students leave the Austin Independent School District (AISD), and identify where students go after they leave, the Department of Research and Evaluation conducted a survey in English and Spanish. For the purpose of the survey, leavers were defined as students who attended AISD during the 2014-2015 school year, but who were not enrolled at AISD in October of 2015.

Bilingual and English as a Second Language Programs Summary, 2015–2016
This annual report summarizes Austin ISD's English language learner students and the bilingual and ESL programs in which they participated during the 2015-2016 school year. The report includes summaries of data on student demographics, language acquisition, and academic performance.
