Each year, staff develop the evaluation plan document to describe the scope of work for the coming year which details programs to be evaluated and evaluation support and services to be provided. Evaluation plans are developed through an interactive process involving evaluation and program staff and the executive director of Accountability. This plan of work is for the 2007-2008 school year.
State Compensatory Education (SCE) is a supplemental program designed to eliminate disparities in (a) student performance on assessment instruments administered under chapter 39 of the Texas Education Code (1995, amended 2007), and (b) the rates of high school completion between students who are at risk of dropping out of school, as defined by Texas Education Code 29.081 (1995, amended 2007), and all other students.
