Question: What is the TAKS Performance of Students Currently Enrolled in Designated NCLB Receiving Middle Schools-and How Does it Differ When Transfer Students are not Included?
This report describes student performance for middle school students in schools receiving NCLB transfers.
Evidence from this Spring 2012 pilot suggests feedback about teachers can be reliably obtained from students at all grade levels, and that such feedback can provide a valid supplemental measure of teacher quality to accompany additional indicators.
This report examines student growth on TAKS as a measure of effective teaching in AISD. Results highlight the importance of analyzing student growth along with student passing rates when examining teacher effectiveness.
