Afterschool Centers on Education Austin Independent School District Cycle 10 Final Report 2019-2020

The Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) is the program administered through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grants. The ACE Austin Cycle 10 program provides intentional afterschool program experiences that are high quality, challenging, and inspiring. Across activities and centers, the afterschool program focuses on three primary objectives: decrease school-day absences, decrease discipline referrals, and increase academic achievement. This report examines outcomes for participants.

Afterschool Centers on Education, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area Cycle 10 Final Report, 2018-2019

The Afterschool Centers on Education of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area (ACE BGCA) provided academic assistance, enrichment, college and career readiness, and family engagement activities at four elementary, three middle, and two high schools through Cycle 10 funding through the Texas Education Agency. ACE BGCA was found to have a positive impact on students’ academic achievement, school-day attendance, discipline, and college and career readiness. Most of the parents of ACE BGCA students reported an overall positive climate and positive experiences with the ACE Austin program.

2014-2015 Coordinated School Health Implementation Report and Fitnessgram Results: Elementary School Summary

The Coordinated School Health (CSH) reports describe how the CSH program was implemented at AISD campuses. The reports provide summary- and campus-level information about achieved CSH action goals, changes in the percentage of students meeting healthy fitness criteria, and program implementation ratings.
