Culturally Responsive Restorative Practices: Preliminary Data from Participating Schools, 2019-2020

This report provides a brief overview of Culturally Responsive Restorative Practices, an innovative framework intended to address discipline disparities and improve school climate and culture at ten AISD schools. This work is part of a 5-year, $3.5 million Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Afterschool Centers on Education Austin Independent School District Cycle 10 Final Report 2019-2020

The Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE) is the program administered through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grants. The ACE Austin Cycle 10 program provides intentional afterschool program experiences that are high quality, challenging, and inspiring. Across activities and centers, the afterschool program focuses on three primary objectives: decrease school-day absences, decrease discipline referrals, and increase academic achievement. Culturally Responsive Restorative Practices: Preliminary Data from Participating Schools, 2018-2019

This report provides a brief overview of Culturally Responsive Restorative Practices, an innovative framework intended to address discipline disparities and improve school climate and culture at ten AISD schools. School Grief Support Network Initiative: Survey Results, 2018

This report summarizes data gathered from pre- and post-intervention surveys conducted with parents/guardians and teachers of AISD students who were offered free grief support counseling services during 2017-2018 through a grant funded by The Christi Center.

Title IV Safe and Drug Free Schools and Community, 2004-2005

During the 2004-2005 school year, AISD received a total Title IV grant of $477,413 that was used to support substance use and violence prevention efforts at each level of the AISD Student Intervention Model.

ACCESS Initiative 2009-2010 Summary: Dropout Prevention at Mendez Middle School

The ACCESS grant provided funding for a dropout specialist at Mendez Middle School to work with students and their families on identifying and overcoming barriers to attendance and to decrease the likelihood that students would drop out.

2014-2015 Coordinated School Health Implementation Report and Fitnessgram Results: Elementary School Summary

The Coordinated School Health (CSH) reports describe how the CSH program was implemented at AISD campuses. The reports provide summary- and campus-level information about achieved CSH action goals, changes in the percentage of students meeting healthy fitness criteria, and program implementation ratings.
