The Texas Afterschool Centers on Education is the program administered through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grants. Afterschool Centers on Education, Austin Independent School District Cycle 10 Final Report, 2018-2019

The AISD Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE Austin) program provided academic assistance, enrichment, college and career readiness, and family engagement activities at seven elementary, one middle, and two high schools through Cycle 10 funding through the Texas Education Agency. ACE Austin was found to have a positive impact on students’ academic achievement, school-day attendance, discipline, and college and career readiness. Most of the parents of ACE Austin students reported an overall positive climate and positive experiences with the ACE Austin program.
