ACCESS 2009-2010 Summary: Gang Prevention and Intervention
Austin Community Collaboration to Enhance Student Success (ACCESS) first funded a gang specialist school resource officer (SRO) in Fall 2007 to decrease gang activity on campuses and to educate students, parents, and community members about gangs. Positive Behavior Support Evaluation 2009-2010
In 2009-2010, Positive Behavior Support (PBS) was implemented on 80 Austin Independent School District (AISD) Campuses with support from the AISD PBS team. Through PBS, campuses develop a continuum of systemic and individualized strategies delivered within school-wide, classroom, and individual student systems.

Prekindergarten Evaluation Report 2009-2010
AISD served 5,450 pre-K students in 2009-2010. Approximately 70% of sampled English-speaking pre-K students and 74% of sampled Spanish-speaking pre-K students had faster than the expected growth rate in receptive vocabulary.

ARRA IDEA 2009-2010 Summary Report
