Class of 2015 High School Exit Survey

The purpose of the High School Exit Survey was to monitor high school seniors’ perception of their high school experiences. Results are used to improve the campus environment and program supports for students. Survey results also are used in the monitoring of the district’s strategic plan Goal 3: All students will graduate ready for college, career, and life in a globally competitive economy.

The Creative Learning Initiative Innovates Teaching and Learning: Impact Highlights of the 2014–2015 School Year

The Creative Learning Initiative (CLI), a collective impact partnership among the Austin Independent School District (AISD), the city of Austin, and MINDPOP (an arts partnership dedicated to expanding creative learning in Austin and representing over 50 arts and cultural agencies), created arts-rich schools at a rate that exceeded the benchmark goal. Postsecondary Enrollment for 2014 Graduates: Austin Independent School District

A significantly higher percentage of AISD graduates enrolled in postsecondary institutions in 2014 (66%) than enrolled in 2013 (63%). Eighty-one percent of Class of 2013 graduates enrolled and persisted in a postsecondary institution 2 consecutive years after high school graduation. Building a Teaching Effectiveness Network (BTEN): Coordinating Support and Feedback for Beginning Teachers

This report is an overview of the BTEN project, in which 19 AISD schools participated from 2011 to 2015. The report highlights the positive impact BTEN had on AISD schools and describes challenges with a new way of thinking about improvement.

2014-2015 Coordinated School Health Implementation Report and Fitnessgram Results: Middle School Summary

The Coordinated School Health (CSH) reports describe how the CSH program was implemented at AISD campuses. The reports provide summary- and campus-level information about achieved CSH action goals, changes in the percentage of students meeting healthy fitness criteria, and program implementation ratings.
