State Compensatory Education and High School Accelerated Instruction, 2013-2014

The disparity in passing rates of at-risk and not at-risk students decreased for nearly half of STAAR subjects and grades, but increased in nearly as many cases. However, the gap narrowed to the smallest measured in six years of graduation rates.

A Summary of Austin Independent School District's Optional Extended Year Program Activities, 2008-2009

During 2008–2009, state funds supported academic intervention activities for 3,623 students struggling in reading or math at 55 AISD campuses during the regular school year and in summer school. The program also provided parental involvement activities, staff development sessions for teachers, and student performance evaluations. Almost all students served (95.5%) were promoted to the next grade level.

Title I, Part A Summary Report: 2008-2009

AISD allocated Title I, Part A funds to 68 school-wide campuses (52 elementary, 11 middle, and 5 high schools) where the percentages of low-income children ranged from 45% to 99%.
