Results of the AISD High School Exit Survey - Class of 2010
The High School Exit Survey was administered online to seniors in every AISD high school during Spring 2010. In total, 3,574 seniors in the Class of 2010 completed the survey, for a response rate of 87.9 percent.

Postsecondary Enrollment for 2010 Graduates
Overall postsecondary enrollment of AISD graduates increased slowly over time until 2010. The drop in enrollment this year follows a national trend. Enrollment at 4-year colleges fell more than did enrollment at 2-year colleges.

Class of 2010 Alumni Survey Report
AISD graduates completed a follow-up survey about their high school college and/or career preparation one year after graduation. This report focuses on students’ perceptions of their postsecondary preparedness and ways it could be improved.

Bilingual Education and English as a Second Language Programs Summary Report 2009-2010
Twenty-nine percent of students enrolled in AISD were English language learners in 2009-2010. The majority of them (62%) continued to make progress in English proficiency and their TAKS scores have continued to improve over the years.

Prekindergarten Evaluation Report 2009-2010
AISD served 5,450 pre-K students in 2009-2010. Approximately 70% of sampled English-speaking pre-K students and 74% of sampled Spanish-speaking pre-K students had faster than the expected growth rate in receptive vocabulary.

Positive Behavior Support Evaluation 2008-2009
The AISD Positive Behavior Support (PBS) model is based on national models that use behavior support systems at the universal, targeted, and intensive levels of intervention to promote pro-social behaviors, to reduce chronic disruptive and destructive behaviors among students, and to meet the needs of children with significant behavior challenges.
