Austin Partners in Education, a nonprofit organization, helps the community and AISD classrooms work together to ensure academic excellence and personal success for students. Academic outcomes, student engagement, and other variables were examined.
Summer School Evaluation Summary Report 2009
AISD served more than 13,000 students in summer programs, providing opportunities for accelerated learning, maintenance of academic skills between school years, course credit recovery, state achievement tests, or school-level transition activities. Read the full report for more details.
AISD K-8 Accelerated Reading and Mathematics Instruction Evaluation Report, 2008-2009
During the 2008–2009 school year, 23,713 grade K–8 students participated in reading and/or math interventions. Of those intervention students who took grade 3-8 TAKS, 75% passed in reading and 65% passed in math. For more information, read the full report.
