2015-2016 Creative Learning Initiative Annual Report
The Creative Learning Initiative (CLI) is a community-wide effort to bring creative learning and the arts to each and every student in Austin. Lead by MINDPOP, the City of Austin, and the Austin Independent School District (AISD), CLI designs systemic and sustainable programs that integrate creativity, creative teaching strategies, and the arts with classroom teaching, campus programming, and campus improvement. Evaluation findings suggest CLI implementation had a positive impact on the district, its teachers and the students it serves.

Creative Campus Profiles, 2015-2016
Research on creative learning shows that students attending arts-rich schools have higher levels of motivation and better academic and social success. Arts richness is measured in the Creative Campus profile reports, based on information gathered in the 2015-2016 Arts Inventory. The profile was developed and piloted in the Creative Learning Initiative (CLI) campuses over two years, but is relevant and now available for all AISD campuses. AISD 2015 Family Leaver Survey: 2014-2015 Leavers
To understand the most common reasons that students leave the Austin Independent School District (AISD), and identify where students go after they leave, the Department of Research and Evaluation conducted a survey in English and Spanish. For the purpose of the survey, leavers were defined as students who attended AISD during the 2014-2015 school year, but who were not enrolled at AISD in October of 2015.

Analysis of Performance Gaps in Austin Independent School District: 2012-2013 Through 2014-2015
This report is one of several that examines the data to investigate equity in AISD. It describes the performance gaps between and among student groups district-wide for reading, math, writing, disciplinary removals/placements, and graduation rates.
