DESCRIPTION:Austin ISD awards belated high school diplomas to veterans who 
	have served in the armed forces without finishing high school. This year's
	 ceremony will be held at McCallum High School\, 5600 Sunshine Drive at 11
	 A.M. on Friday\, November 11.  Eligible veterans who served in World
	 War II\, Korean War\, Vietnam War\, Persian Gulf War\, Iraq War\, War in 
	Afghanistan\, or any other formally declared war by the U.S. are eligible 
	to apply. Veterans or family members may obtain a diploma application by c
	ontacting Mrs. Shirley Alexander or Ms. Gia Jones at (512) 414-0112\, in t
	he Department of Student Support Services. The completed application must 
	be returned with a copy of the discharge notification (DD Form 214).
