WHAT: Farmers Insurance is honoring those who make us smarter with the “Thank A Million Teachers” national program which invites America to express appreciation to the nation’s teachers. Farmers understands the foundational role teachers play in our communities and wants to recognize educators for the difference they make in the lives of children and communities.
Anyone can thank a teacher by going to the ThankAMillionTeachers.com web site. Upon being thanked, teachers are invited to submit a proposal for their chance to win a grant of up to $2,500 towards their national board certification or for school supplies in their classroom.

The national insurer further highlighted its commitment to educators with its 2014 Rose Parade float, Thank A Million Teachers, which featured teachers and students participating in the New Year’s Day parade.
