AISD Celebrates House Park Re-opening and 14th Annual Taco Shack Bowl
Anderson Trojans and the McCallum Knights battle for the win
Join Austin ISD to celebrate the re-opening of House Park with a ribbon-cutting, followed by the 14th Annual Taco Shack Bowl.
The Taco Shack Bowl, hosted by Taco Shack, is a football game between high school rivals--the Anderson Trojans and the McCallum Knights.
On Memorial Day weekend, House Park was flooded, damaging the artificial turf that was installed in 2008. Over the summer, the grounds were cleaned and a transformer and the turf was replaced.
House Park, which opened in 1939, can now continue to serve as the home field for Anderson, Austin, Lanier and McCallum high schools.
