Sexting, Teens and the Law - a Special Workshop for Families

“Sexting” is the electronic sharing of sexually explicit pictures, videos or text messages primarily between two cell phones. On September 1, 2011, Texas law regarding sexting changed.

Sexting, Teens and the Law is a free workshop for parents covering recent changes in the law regarding sexting, what to look for and how to avoid it. Join us on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at McCallum High School, located at 5600 Sunshine Drive. This session is targeted to parents in the McCallum HS vertical team, but anyone is welcome.

This workshop will cover the changes in the law, what to look for and strategies for parents and teens to avoid sexting. The workshop is parent-initiated, developed and presented by Jodi Cole, a criminal attorney and AISD parent.  Download Flyer >
